Job description
In the role of a Marketing and Communications Assistant you will be responsible for the communications initiatives of the organization for a consistently growing event marketing company providing marketing, advertising and consulting services to large national companies and corporations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management
- Organize community events and serve as the company’s spokesperson
- Building relationships with customers and communicating promotional services
- Developing community based strategies and campaigns
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups
- Coaches client reps in effective communication with the public and employees.
- Analyzes the organization’s objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services
- Maintains the organization’s image and identity
- Collaborates with Operation Director to identify trends and evaluate advertising to determine whether it is in sync with the organization’s public relation efforts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in community relations, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with community
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to participate in professional development and take on new responsibilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
