Job Summary:
The Ford Warranty Administrator at Harrisonburg Ford is responsible for managing and administering all warranty claims for Ford vehicles sold at our dealership. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring that warranty claims are processed accurately and efficiently in order to maintain customer satisfaction and maximize profitability. This is a full-time position with a base salary and commission structure, located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Ford Warranty Administrator will report directly to the Service Manager and will work closely with the Service, Parts, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities:
- Review and process warranty claims from start to finish in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify eligibility and documentation for each claim, ensuring that it meets manufacturer and dealership requirements
- Communicate with customers regarding their warranty claims, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and organized records of warranty claims, including approvals, rejections, and payments
- Work closely with the Service and Parts departments to ensure all necessary information and paperwork is obtained for warranty claims
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or discrepancies in warranty claims
- Keep up-to-date with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
- Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new computer systems
- Familiarity with Ford warranty policies and procedures is a plus
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
