Job Details:
- Full application must be completed in order to be considered for the position
- $26 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- 12pm start time
- Full time with OT
- Weekly pay
Job Requirements:
- Must have experience in warehouse supervising
- Must work mandatory overtime as needed
- Must be able to take on a capacity of 5-8 pickers while assisting other departments around 8-11 persons
Job Duties:
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing to strategic plans and reviews related to productivity, quality, and customer service standards
- Identify and recommend warehouse system improvements for efficiency
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles and recommends improvements
- Oversee and maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical and cycle counts, reconciling variances and inputting data
- Secure warehouse by setting the alarm and testing systems
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns requiring preventive maintenance and reporting needed repairs to Warehouse Manager and/or Branch Manager
- Establish and adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as required by production schedules and workflow
- Recommend measures to improve quality of service in areas that need improvement
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and by reading technical publications
- Ensure the warehouse is kept orderly, clean and in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Lead efforts in conducting daily safety inspections
