Title: Plastic Production Manager
Location: Surprise, AZ
Salary: $100-$125,000/year plus relocation assistance OR potential bonus
Requirements: Must have at least 3-5 Years experience in Production and a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent. MUST HAVE EXTRUSTION experience, packaging experience would be ideal - or something of a similar vertical. 5+ years of Production Management experience, and the ability to understand lean process' within a high speed manufacturing facility.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Plastics Extrusion Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in linking the company's vision, mission, and goals with the operational teams, ensuring the alignment of deliverables to financial objectives.

-Ensure operational teams achieve company goals related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.

-Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing excellence and foster a positive company culture.

-Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to enhance operational output.

-Contribute to the development of an annual budget and establish clear performance metrics based on sales goals.

-Maintain a hands-on approach with direct involvement on the production floor.

-Report daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly production metrics.

-Develop a high-performance team through talent identification, development, and succession planning.

-Support the success of individuals reporting directly to this position.

-Build collaborative relationships with other functional leaders, customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

-Ensure alignment of the operations team with corporate goals.

What You Need for this Position

-Bachelors degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.

-5 to 7 years of experience in Plastic Extrusion, Blow or Injection Molding, or Thermoforming preferred.

-5 years + of managerial experience in a production environment.

-Demonstrated and proven leadership experience.

-Six Sigma Level Black Certification, OSHA 30 Certification, Optional Paulson Extrusion Course.
