Partnership Coordinator - MS Delta GEAR-UP Position Type: Staff

Responsibilities: - Coordinate and implement the academic year and summer enrichment activities on campus for
middle and high school students and families. May include but is not limited to: campus visits, engagement with college student mentors,
coordination with Delta Proud, Financial Aid workshops, FAFSA completion workshops, serve as a connector between school and student needs
and resources within the university, summer programming, and celebrations for National GEAR UP Week;
- Assist in data collection for
student and parent services;
- Serve on selected GEAR UP Partnership Advisory Boards;
- Serve as a mentor and positive role
model to GEAR UP students;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in education,
business administration or related field.
- Experience working with and in public schools.
- Knowledge of post-secondary
education requirements and financial aid.
- Bachelor degree in education, business administration, or related field.
- Ability to establish rapport with adults and adolescents.
- Bachelor degree in education, business administration, or
related field.
- 3 years of equivalent teaching or counseling experience with middle or high school students.
- knowledge of
post-secondary education requirements and financial aid.
- Strong public relations skills and outstanding organizational skills.
Salary: 12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and universitys resources.
Minimum
