Job Location: Charlotte, NC & Monroe, NC
Shift: Days (40 hours a week)
Sign-on bonus up to 8K
Relocation up to 5K

Duties:
- Evaluate, plan, and administer athletic training programs for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
- Provide medical coverage and support at high schools and community sporting events.
- Collaborate with athletes, families, and healthcare professionals for cohesive athlete care.
- Adhere to state licensing agency protocols and guidelines under physician supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Offer athletic training services during school practices and events, focusing on community service goals.
- Establish effective professional relationships and provide medical coverage during afternoons and evenings.
- Design and implement rehabilitation plans, including therapeutic treatment, taping, wrapping, and bracing.
- Assess and communicate athlete progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning to clinical staff and physicians.
Skills:
- Ability to push athletes in wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Lift athletes, equipment, or supplies (up to 20 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally, 100 pounds rarely).
- Perform duties in a fast-paced clinical outreach environment, including outdoor settings.
- Demonstrate exercises and activities to athletes/caregivers.
Education:
- College graduate with BS, MS, or MA degree from a CAATE accredited program.
- Current certification through the Board of Certification Inc. and licensed by the NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners and/or SC State Certification or willing to take.
- One year of experience as a high school or collegiate certified athletic trainer is preferred.
- Completion of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross CPR and AED training.
