Job description
10+ years of hands-on experience on Snowflake development including Snowpipes, Snowshare, Task, Streams, UDFs and Procedures Develop, build & maintain mission critical centralized data platform using SnowflakeDiagnose and troubleshoot Snowflake database errorsImplement Snowflake user /query log analysis and alertsShould work with heterogeneous user groups from data engineers to data scientistsImplement data encryption/decryption/masking policies to protect PII/PCI dataDemonstrated proficiency of index design, query plan optimization and analysis requiredUser security auditingCreate Snowflake utilization and capacity planTune the database to improve Snowflake queriesProvide technical leadership, fosters a team environment, and provides mentorship and feedback to technical resourcesUnderstanding of Snowflake warehousing, architecture, processing, administrationData ingestion into SnowflakeEnterprise-level technical exposure to Snowflake applicationsInterprets, identifies, and solves unique and meaningful problemsLeads technical contribution to requirements / story development conversationsCommunicates complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience (written and verbal) including communication to leadershipFollows best practices and standards, identifies gaps and suggests changesResponsible for understanding environmental constraints and planning to mitigateWorks respectfully with all team members, both OneAmerica colleagues and vendor partner team members Knowledge of Talend.
