SAIC is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler in support of our MACH-TB customer in Huntsville, AL.
NOTE: This is a hybrid remote position requiring three days on site in either Huntsville, AL or Crane, IN.
SAIC is the premier Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) service provider to the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic Test Bed (MACH-TB) Program with expertise in executing Program Office roles for Hypersonic Test Planning, Execution and Capability Management. This MACH-TB Program, sponsored by the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering’s (OUSR(R&A)) Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) and executed by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, supports the Department of Defense (DoD) National Hypersonics Initiative 2.0 (NHI 2.0) Technology Acceleration and Affordability and Capacity pillars by providing low cost hypersonic test opportunities to Government Agencies, Uniformed Services, National Labs, Industry and Academia at a rapid cadence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
The ideal candidate would provide the following:
- Manages Range Availability and Milestones Schedule with Range Representative and Mission Managers
- Manages Launch Event Schedule and Status with Mission Managers
- Manages Experiment Maturity, Deliver and Integration Schedule with Test Design and Execution Leads
- Manages Approved Test Schedule Changes and Present to Test Management Oversite Group (TMOG) on a monthly basis.
- Develop, Baseline, and maintain program execution schedule with program leads
- Scheduling and other program support to management’s efforts to prepare, update, and execute the Project Management Plan (PMP).
- Ensures that schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated cross projects and functions.
- Ensures program status is collected in a timely manner and reported on a weekly basis
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Suggests/creates/implements methods to enhance cost and schedule performance.
- Performs schedule risk analyses and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Develop a detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and present IMS data in a clear and concise manner consistent with accepted schedule management techniques and processes.
- Support program manager with schedule status reviews and schedule update meetings Lead schedule management and maintenance with no supervision
- Collect and analyze cost performance data reports; identify cost, schedule, and performance trends; and prepare reports and graphs to present status to IPT and senior managers.
- Conduct Critical Path Analysis
- Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs)
- Maintain Resource Management processes/procedures with data tracking and analysis.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Milestone Pro or Black Hat scheduling software
- US Citizenship required
- Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance
