Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction of the Hotel Manager and/or Director of Hotel Operations, manages and ensures the hotel facilities are property maintained and cleaned in accordance with appropriate health and safety standards. Develops and implements goals and standards for housekeeping services. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma or GED plus five (5) years’ experience overseeing a fully staffed housekeeping and laundry departments in a hotel/resort property of a minimum of 100 guest rooms which includes two (2) years in a management capacity. Associate’s Degree preferred. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
