Job Title:

Accountant – Commissions

Role Overview:

The position plays a critical role in the WW commissions accounting organization. As a Deferred Commissions Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and executing the accounting processes related to sales commissions. Your role will include deferred commissions accounting that and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 recognition.

+ Ensure accurate recording of deferred commission transactions in accordance with US GAAP , specifically ASC 606.

+ Prepare monthly journal entries, accrual waterfalls, and account reconciliations related to deferred commissions.

+ Assist in the ongoing efforts to enhance commissions cost modeling to drive decision making.

+ Drive opportunities for technology and process improvements within the deferred commissions accounting function that includes analytical insight into strategy execution based on performance and identify potential risk.

+ Monthly/Quarterly Balance Sheet Account reconciliations.

+ Assist with commission accrual audit inquiries.

+ Contribute to ad hoc projects as they arise.

Base Pay Range: $85-$95k. Actual bases pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation will also include a variable bonus opportunity, and may include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
