Job description
Pay Range: $ 48.32/hr - $ 59.43/hr - $ 66.89/hr
*Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $59.43/hr, based on applicable experience.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. This 56-bed surgical unit includes an experienced, multidisciplinary team of professionals who care for a diverse and clinically challenging patient population. Patients admitted to this unit are generally recovering from orthopedic, bowel, gastric bypass and urological surgeries. Staff may also care for patients recovering from stroke, head and spinal injuries.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Desired:
* One year of acute nursing experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
* Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
* Current CPR recognition
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
