WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Under liberal supervision, assists Electrical Engineers in planning and testing of electrical/mechanical components. Lead a small group of Technicians, advising on set up, testing and safety of testing electrical/mechanical components.

• Lead Technicians on planning, test procedures and set up.
• Devise and fabricate test fixtures.
• Follow lab test procedures.
• Program automated test stations.
• Generate wiring diagrams for testing set up.
• Write clear and concise test report results.
• Analyze data and determine pass/fail based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Preparing electrical components for testing using advanced test equipment including:
  • Environmental l Chambers
  • Oscilloscope
  • VOM
  • Dielectric Tester
  • Surge Tester
  • Electrostatic Discharge Tester
  • Data Acquisition Equipment
  • Programmable Power Supplies

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

•   Requires high school diploma
• Two-year degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills working with Engineers
• Critical thinking skills.
• Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans.
• Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and models.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with voltages at a PCB level up to 575vac, three phase.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $69,000 - $86,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
