The Role
Tesla is looking for a Moffett Driver (Class B) to support deliveries of residential products to customers' homes and operation centers. We seek a driver with professional customer service experience and excellent communication skills. This role is a critical contributor to the overall Tesla experience.
Responsibilities - Deliver and pick up Tesla Energy products between operation centers and customer homes in specialized assets
- Daily Truck & Trailer Inspection
- Various job tasks as required and follow internal policies and procedures
- Responsible for the security of loads before and during transit
- Obtaining scale weights and refueling
- Capable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loads
Requirements - Must possess and maintain a Class B commercial license CDL (Commercial Driver s License)
- Must have a superior level of safety awareness on the roadways
- Must have two years of verifiable driving & work experience
- Strong work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer-focused
- Practical communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to follow instructions
- Able to work OT as required, multiple shifts (day and/or night), and ability to travel interstate
- Ability to follow FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Regulations as it pertains to this position
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds and use a manual pallet to jack heavy material on/off vehicles
- Maintain 3 points of contacting when entering and existing the vehicle
- Must have a current DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical Examination
- Experience with flatbed/Moffett preferred
- NCCCO, Ariel Lift, and OSHA Safety certifications preferred
- HazMat, Tank, Double & Triple Trailer, Liquid Bulk endorsements preferred
- Forklift Certification training is a plus; it will be required to operate on occasion

Expected Compensation $30.50 - $58.33/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
