Emergency Department, offering specialized services to the community. The
annual volume is 28,000, and the ED operates with 24 hours of physician
coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to a diverse patient
population
- Collaborate with the medical team for comprehensive
patient care
- Adhere to protocols and standards of care
- Utilize the MediTech EMR for accurate and timely
documentation
- Ensure efficient and high-quality emergency services
Facility Details:
- Full-service, acute care hospital with an adjacent
three-story medical office building.
- Specialized services include a 24-hour Emergency
Department, Cardiovascular Services, Robotic Surgery, and the Breast
Center of South Texas.
- Annual Volume: 28,000
- 24 hours of physician coverage: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
- 24 hours of APP coverage: 8a-8p and 10a-10p
- EMR: MediTech
Qualifications:
- ABEM/AOBEM or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- ABEM/AOBEM: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS recommended
- Board Eligible: MUST have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- TX Licensed
