Our Senior Payroll Administrator will be working in tandem with our Payroll Supervisor, in payroll processing and reporting. This role involves advanced organization skills, keen eye for details, and a basic understanding of mathematical formulas and concepts. The ideal candidate must also be able to analyze data and perform audits regularly. Lastly, this payroll superstar must have excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to thrive in our fast-paced, growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Process full cycle (multi-state) payroll for 800+ employees
- Answer employee questions regarding Direct Deposit, Pay Schedule, Taxes, Earning Statements, W2s etc.
- Updating various payroll related logs
- Submitting Agency payroll on a weekly basis
- Submitting forms for EDD/SSA audits
- Worker’s Compensation reports and reconciliation
- Timecard Auditing
- Wage statement and W2 requests
- Employee Verifications
- Importing/Auditing pay data into ADP WFN
- Producing Ad Hoc reports
- Assist in Year End tasks
- Sorting and distributing Payroll checks
- Processing manual checks
- Entering new hire activations/deactivations in ADP WFN
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, spreadsheets)
- Ability to adapt to new policies and/or procedures
- Ability to independently problem solve
- Detail-oriented, easily identify discrepancies
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- ADP Workforce Now and Enhanced Time preferred
- 1 year (Minimum) of experience in payroll processing
- Experienced Customer Service Skills
- Advanced multi-tasking and problem-solving skills – a must!
