Job Description
Clean Earth is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall operations, application management and migrations, security of Clean Earth's growing Cloud Infrastructure that supports the company's core business and infrastructure systems and services. In this role, you will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build new solutions, implement and configure new applications and hardware, provide training, and optimize/monitor cloud systems. You must be passionate about applying technical skills that create operational efficiencies and offer solutions to support Clean Earth's business operations and strategy roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Works in tandem with Clean Earth's Architecture, Applications and Security teams
Identify and implement the most optimal and secure Azure cloud-based solutions for the company.
Plan, implement and establish operational and maintenance programs to deliver a best-in-class cloud platform optimized for efficiency cost and performance.
Collaborate with operational and developer teams on both tactical and strategic projects.
Utilize approved tools to verify and take required action on events aggregated from network monitoring tools and Web Application Firewall.
Perform network configuration changes both on-prem and in Azure.
Setting up, securing and maintaining the infrastructure around Azure Dev Ops and Application Firewalls.
Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as available to help keep the environment operating at it optimum while minimizing waste and maximizing investment.
Create and update the documentation to facilitate cross-training and troubleshooting
Work with the Security and Architecture teams to refine and deploy security best practices to identify, detect, protect, respond, and recover from threats to Clean Earth assets and information.
Develop monitoring scripts to monitor applications, system performances and data availability
Communicate planned/unplanned outages to end users
Provide administration services on applications
