Summary of Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, provide support in all areas related to accounting/finance. Applies the principles of accounting within assigned areas of responsibility. Supports assigned area managers with budgeting, latest estimate and 10 year business plan processes. Supports finance function in providing financial information, journal entries, reconciles reports and financial data. Understands inter-company transaction accounting as well as relief duties of interdepartmental tasks. Proficient with financial reporting systems such as SAP, BPC or Hyperion.
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
- Support cost center managers with preparation of annual cost center budgets, latest estimates and business plan. Provide analysis and interpretation of financial data, including detail of expenditures, etc to monitor cost center performance and alignment to agreed budget.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Responsible for recording, classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) in a highly detail-oriented and organized manner.
- Responsible for maintaining and applying knowledge of applicable laws and regulations by ensuring that all work confirms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Responsible for implementation and application of internal controls and compliance with internal procedures.
- Responsible for review and process of journal entries into various accounts while performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Support the annual audit process, including ensuring financial transactions are substantiated with proper documentation for auditing purposes; providing PBC’s on the test of details at activity level and area of responsibility.
- Process and understand foreign exchange currency transactions and concepts.
- Demonstrate administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area.

Education and Experience At a minimum, the candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or finance related field, 3 years of related experience and a CPA or equivalent certification. The Ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Job Details - The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM
- Work Schedule: Professional work schedule. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
- Travel Required: 25% of the time or less as required.
- Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required.
- Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.

Compensation starting at: $98435 - 135510 / year and up dependent on candidate.
