Job Summary
RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for an Information Security Analystto join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the Information Security Program, while also evaluating Information Security technology solutions, assisting in the creation and maintenance of relevant information security and compliance policies. This position is remote working full-time, Monday - Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: (65%) IT Security Analysis
- Acts as a hands-on technical specialist by providing comprehensive incident response (IR) and security operations support, including detection, response and containment of advanced threats to the organization’s IT environment
- Utilizes information security tool sets to continuously monitor endpoint assets, network activity, and corresponding data flows to proactively ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical data
- Triages, investigates and manages IR cases through the entire IR event lifecycle
- Maintains up-to-date cybersecurity threat intelligence as it pertains to the healthcare industry “threatscape” by utilizing open-source and proprietary intelligence feeds
- Assists in the development and preparation of information security metrics and intelligence briefs for upper-management’s situational awareness
- Researches current trends in information security, privacy, and compliance along with associated technology issues; particularly as they pertain to the healthcare industry to improve the performance and capabilities of the company’s threat and vulnerability management program
(30%) IT Security Solution Engineering
- Provides guidance and subject matter expertise through the entire technology lifecycle (plan, build, run) for information security platforms
- Conducts evaluations and proof of concepts/value (POCs/POVs) of new technology solutions that will keep the company on the leading edge of detection, response and containment capabilities
- Acts as the project management lead for deployment of new information security technology solutions
- Creates and maintains system documentation and workflows
(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements Required:
- Associate’s degree, or equivalent from technical school, or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience in the Information Security field
- 1-3 years of experience in the areas of security monitoring, incident response, forensic investigation, and vulnerability analysis
- Advanced experience with security technologies such as various monitoring and log aggregation platforms, penetration testing frameworks, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, IT or related field
- Familiarity with US and international data privacy / protection laws
- SANS GIAC Certifications
