JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Org Development Manager, the Lead, Leader Development primarily serves as a strategic individual contributor and core member of the
Organizational Development and Learning & Development Department, you’ll partner with department and program leaders for facilitating leadership development programs to enhance critical skills in existing leaders, enabling individuals to be effective in their new or upcoming leadership roles, and cocreate a framework to identify and select high-potential leaders. Helping to implement these solutions will have a measurable impact on business outcomes specific to talent readiness and leadership effectiveness, improving efficiency and enhancing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with department leaders to develop and facilitate talent and leadership development programs that foster employee professional development and support organizational effectiveness.
• Facilitate leadership development programs to enhance critical skills in existing leaders, enabling individuals to be effective in their new or upcoming leadership roles, and co-create a framework to identify and select high-potential leaders.
• Measurable impact on talent readiness and leadership effectiveness.
• Establish key relationships across the organization to understand business priorities and the talent and leadership development implications of strategies to meet ongoing and future needs.
• Collaborate with fellow subject matter experts to perform gap analyses, define learning objectives, implement training solutions, and analyze training effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of professional experience facilitating training, including off-the-shelf curriculum, and supporting talent management initiatives
• 2+ years of supervisory experience managing direct reports, providing guidance, direction, and leadership to others
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, industrial psychology, human resources, or related field
• Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theories, and principles of management and organizational behavior

• Facilitate leadership development curriculum by targeting the content and delivery to meet required knowledge and skill levels.
• Design training materials, tools, and resources that reinforce and sustain learning and application.
• Proven record of implementing successful initiatives in leadership development, organizational development, change management, employee experience, and/or organizational culture
• Exceptional project management skills and familiarity with phases of project lifecycles
• Data-driven approach diagnosing business problems, understanding insights, and designing impactful solutions
• Help identify, develop, and implement career pathing and competency-based career development tools to enhance professional development.
• Commitment to a growth mindset and a climate of continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to create an environment of psychological safety by working collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and leaders.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Intermediate level experience with Project Management Software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Adobe
• File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)
• Email, internet, website, and social media platforms
• Use of typical office equipment

 

COMPENSATION:

This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
