- Supporting and satisfying the policies, goals, efforts and programs of the BU's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System to ensure HSE issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within area of responsibility
- Maintaining and supporting electrical, process control, and measurement systems; troubleshoot problems associated with these systems; installing and maintaining new equipment as projects dictate
- Participating in project planning and daily planning of maintenance activities
- Maintaining and optimizing distributive control systems, EFMs, RTUs, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Assist in the training and development of the I&E Technicians
- Assist engineering to meet applicable government, company and industry regulations and standards
- Utilizes SAP and M&R Control Panel to create, procure and maintain appropriate spare parts' inventory in order to ensure equipment availability
- Utilize and assist in the development, maintenance and support of the Defect Elimination process and its software programs
- Drive action items to closure and communicate these corrections to all affected groups
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in the Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) field
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to wear appropriate personal protective equipment as the job conditions require
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to work outside in harsh weather conditions
- Intermediate knowledge of API standards (RP500, RP14F, RP14C), NEC, and NFPA (37, 25, 70, 70E)
- Basic knowledge of SAP systems
- Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas production facilities and theory of operations
- Basic knowledge with SCADA systems
- Basic proficiency with Wired and Wireless Networking Technologies including Wireless I/O
- Basic proficiency with Fisher ROC 107 and 800
- Basic proficiency with DCS, RTP, PLCs
- Basic proficiency with VFDs
- Basic proficiency in low voltage AC Power systems
- Basic proficiency in the maintenance and repair of 3 phase 480-volt AC motors and motor control systems.
- Basic proficiency in DC Power and Distribution systems including Solar Technologies.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School degree or GED
