Job Description
Job Title: Benefits Administrator
Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094
Job Overview:
This position will report to the CFO and will be responsible for handling administration of the franchise wide multi-employer health plan.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life, critical illness, and accident policies.
- Communicate benefits information to franchisees and employees, including new hires and existing employees.
- Resolves issues related to employee benefits, including claims and eligibility.
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors, franchisees, and employees for all benefit related questions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, including, but not limited to required reporting and fees.
- Coordinate daily benefit processing. This includes approving enrollments, processing terminations and changes, and filing disability, accident, and death claims.
- Ensure payment of monthly premiums to all carriers.
- Analyze current benefits and make annual updates as needed to remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Assist with the preparation of annual reports and audits related to employee benefits.
Qualifications
Qualifications
:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in benefits administration
- Excellent MS Excel skills and knowledge of payroll systems
- Excellent time management abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- A positive, kind attitude toward others and strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
