Job description

Primary Function of Position:

Join a leading innovator in the medical device industry that is revolutionizing surgery worldwide. We are dedicated to transforming the landscape of healthcare through our state-of-the-art robotic surgical device, the da Vinci® Surgical System. As a Clinical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of da Vinci® Surgical Systems, making a significant impact on surgical precision and patient outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the da Vinci® Clinical Sales Manager to create a customized sales plan tailored to the local market.
Develop expertise in da Vinci® Surgery across primary operating room (OR) procedures, aiding in the formation of proficient surgical teams.
Engage with senior hospital staff and key surgeons to execute a strategic plan for the seamless integration of the da Vinci® at new customer sites.
Formulate da Vinci® Surgery plans for each surgical team, supporting independent usage of the technology.
Foster the utilization of the da Vinci® System by working closely with surgical teams to encourage technology adoption.
Expand the user base through collaboration with hospital staff and thought leaders, involving formal presentations, informal events, and networking.
Facilitate the conversion of high-potential leads and drive training activities.
Promote sales of instruments and accessories through effective new product introductions and solution selling.
Manage administrative tasks responsibly, including reporting of sales/procedures, submission of expense reports, etc.
Lead training sessions for surgical teams, ensuring a deep understanding of system operations, OR integration, and da Vinci® Surgery applications.
Act as a valuable resource for surgical teams, providing guidance and insights on the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Qualifications:

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including 2 or more years in healthcare sales.
Proven track record in sales, achievement, and leadership.
Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 25% and work nights and weekends as needed.
Success in introducing new technologies to the market is a plus.
Knowledge of the Operating Room environment preferred.
This position may be hired at a lower profile.
Compensation and Benefit Information:

We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay + commission, benefits, and equity. The target pay rate for this position is $195,200.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 24.00 Per Hour
