BSSe is our major transformation of our BSS, this role will lead that effort across the Consumer Technology Experience organization.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View
Roadmap Planning - Build the MVP Product Roadmap and IDR-Integrated Development Roadmap in collaboration with Target Architecture and Business stakeholders. IDR is a directional planning tool that helps inform scope sequencing, priorities and high level cost/timelines for requested business scope.
Financial/Budget Forecasts– Based off initial IDR projections, build initial budget forecasts that provides insight into costs and constantly refine those views as we get better estimates post scope/epic refinement on a daily/weekly basis.
Epic Intake/Grooming and Solution Intent reviews – Lead/Manage the intake/grooming for all BSS Transformation epics – business and enablers. Engage with 100+ apps/product teams and ensure epic/SI meets DOR-definition of ready criteria.
Drive BSS Transformation EPIC Delivery partnering with all Application & Product Teams
Capability Delivery Management – Planning Capability Testing, with Release Management and Production Ready Delivery including test cycles in support of iterative value drop approach,
Work with business to coordinate delivery timing and execution.
Cross train feature code delivery, testing and deployment coordination and conflict resolution as well as release alignment.
Single point of escalation for all product teams, release management, testing teams and suppliers
Lead BSS Transformation PI Planning, drive EPIC and Features commitments.
Manage escalations and issue management across impacted product teams
Negotiate and champion the priority of BSSe EPIC and Feature commitments and tradeoffs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3-5 years of technical business/data analysis and technical product delivery as RTE or STE.
Experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired.
Strong background in Scaled Agile (SAFe) 6.0 principles, and passion for Continuous Improvement
Experience in prioritization, forecasting and work assessments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
Experience in data analysis with emphasis on creating excel/power BI pivot reports/charts etc.
Key technical skills: Advanced Excel skills, Quickbase, MS Project, ADO (Azure DevOps), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SharePoint
Our Lead Solution Train Engineer earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00., Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
