Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for an Associate Project Controls Engineer in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Associate level position assigned to a role with a combination of scheduling and cost engineering responsibilities. Under general supervision and mentorship, performs project controls assignments according to training, capability, and experience level. With additional experiences and demonstrated capabilities, the individual will grow to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls tasks and assignments.
Prepares, maintains, reviews and revises baseline schedules and budgets for programmatic/project activities and/or line-item construction project activities. Work will be performed per applicable DOE and HLMI orders, standards, procedures, and guidelines using established DOE and industry methodologies and techniques. Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definition. Applies standard cost and/or scheduling data to departmental programs or systems. Responsible for utilizing the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage and control concurrent projects throughout the organization from proposal through execution and completion.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Project Controls Engineer Associate Grade 16: $83,950 - $105,750
Project Controls Engineer Associate Grade 17: $92,238 - $116,213
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
