Job description

Teaches courses in the Higher Education track for the EDAD program; provides in-depth knowledge of higher education experience and expertise in research methodology; offers guidance and support throughout students' dissertation journey; facilitates engaging and interactive classroom experiences, fosters a dynamic learning environment; collaborates with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and align it with industry best practices; stays abreast of current trends and developments in higher education to continually enhance instructional approaches; provides timely feedback, assessment, and support to students, promoting their academic and professional growth.

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. 



Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the University community through teaching.

Work Schedule:  Typically, Monday through Friday. 

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:  Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.



Minimum Qualifications:  A doctoral degree in higher education administration or related field. Five or more years full-time experience in higher education administration. Knowledge of higher education law, policies, and regulations and of higher education financial operations, assessment, evaluation, and accreditation.



Preferred Qualifications:  Experience teaching in higher education settings; experience in student advising or mentoring. A demonstrable track record of scholarly research, publications, or contributions to the field of higher education administration. Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in higher education administration, such as student information systems and database management tools. A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the institution and the ability to work effectively with diverse student and staff populations. The capacity to collaborate with colleagues, faculty, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals and solve problems. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience managing multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
