Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive organizational change, moving Chamberlain to a true omni-channel, full-funnel marketing engine supporting traditional channels while accelerating capabilities and performance in the DTC / e-commerce channel
Translate company objectives into a comprehensive full-funnel demand generation strategy that delivers revenue forecast expectations across paid and organic channels including SEM, CRM, SEO, paid social, programmatic, affiliate, brand media and trade shows
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership to create and refine customer segments/personas in order to build campaigns that resonate with the target audience, originate new business and accelerate the sales cycle
Impress a meticulous, data-driven approach across all campaigns and channels to evaluate effectiveness of tactics and better understand marketing attribution (e.g. ROAS, LTV, CAC, Incrementality testing and approach)
Develop operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend. Create and execute a process for incrementality testing to create an enviornment of continuous improvement.
Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing CPD and CRM systems to better nurture prospects and/or customers, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database
Oversee the content marketing team to drive development and promotion of marketing materials that drive awareness and interest within market segments and by persona
Oversee tradeshow execution to drive awareness for Chamberlain products and sales leads
Develop integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase engagement and overall pipeline, growing revenue and greater share of wallet within customer base
Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and the next steps
Direct all creative development across internal creative team as well as external agencies
Maximize awareness and engagement with our brands through the creation of all forms of high-quality content including video and editorial as well as the ongoing curation of relevant content
Collaborate across functions within and outside of the marketing organization to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the most efficient possible cost
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.
Education/Certifications:
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Design, or related field
Experience:
10+ years of marketing experience that includes oversight of multiple channels including digital (SEM, paid social, programmatic, affiliate), organic (CRM, SEO) and brand media
5+ years of marketing leadership experience with multiple levels of management
Experience with relevant technologies and a playbook for building a highly-effective demand generation marketing stack
Significant expertise working cross functionally to establish solid attribution metrics and ROAS while working against CAC targets
Previous experience working with creative leads (agencies or internal) on campaign development across channels
Deep domain experience in digital marketing and account-based marketing approaches
Demonstrable experience establishing and leading marketing strategy in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
