Job description
Perform preventative maintenance inspections on vehicles and equipment
Perform repairs to chassis and ancillary equipment
Diagnose and repair of complete drive-train
Diagnose and repair of AC and DC electrical systems
Diagnose and repair of hydraulic systems
Maintain paper and digital automotive equipment service records
Required:
Must be proficient with computer, including but not limited to email, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Must be able to obtain a valid unrestricted California Commercial Driver's License, including Air Brake.
If required at the assigned job site, must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a vehicle equipped with standard (manual shift) transmission. License must be kept current as a condition of employment.
Nice to have:
Prefer an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Automotive or Master Medium/Heavy Truck certification.Computer literacy (utilizing excel spreadsheets, outlook, and shop maintenance software.
Strong Diagnostic ability.
Work on heavy vehicles and equipments. e.g.,freightliner trucks, utilizing air brakes and have class A or B to operate those, equipment: diggers and aerial boom to medium duty C4500 Ram
