Job description

The Flagstaff House Restaurant, a Forbes 4 Star, AAA 4 Diamond, & Grand Wine Spectator Award winner, is seeking to fill multiple positions across our line. Applicants can have varying levels of knowledge and skill depending on positions applying for. All cooks that apply should be hard working, self motivated, dedicated restaurant professionals. We prepare everything in house and offer a lot of room to learn and grow no matter the previous experience.

Position requirements are as follows

We pay a high hourly rate + commission & benefits!

Prep Cook- no experience necessary to apply for this position. We offer a training program to those who are dedicated to learning our craft and are willing to work with hard working people to get you up to speed.

Cold line- some experience required for these applicants. we are a fast paced fine dining kitchen that makes everything from scratch. so basic recipe knowledge, knife skills, and ability to work under pressure on a line are base requirements.

Hot line- minimum 2+ years experience working in a kitchen required for these positions with line experience. ability to follow direction clearly and learn new techniques quickly a must for any cook applying for hot line.

Pastry Cook- some experience required for these applicants. We bake our own breads, pastries, ice creams & sorbets. Pastry cooks prepare and plate deserts to order.
