Construction Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:
Direct Report: Accounting Manager
Primary AP Responsibilities:
• Data Collection, coding, data management: Code and Route AP Invoices as required for approval.
• Pursue and maintain approvals of invoices. Oversee document workflow.
• Ensure proper communication with our vendors and address any issues that may arise.
• Confirm all necessary data is being coded properly.
• Coordinate documents for billings, materials, and subcontractor costs for payment backup to the client.
• Lien Waivers: Verify that the appropriate lien waivers are included with the invoicing and when payments are made to subcontractors.
• Manage monthly expense reports for credit cards and fuel.
• Participate in monthly accounting reviews with Accounting Manager and PMs.
