Job description
Position Title: Middle School Math/Science Teacher
Royal Palm Academy, a vibrant Catholic PK-8 school nestled in scenic Naples, Florida, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science and Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is a full-time position encompassing teaching responsibilities for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade regular math and regular science classes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Math, or related field, or equivalent certification.
- Alternatively, candidates without an education degree or certification must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the Middle School or High School level.
Essential Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a dynamic and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of Middle School students, infusing joy and enthusiasm into classroom interactions.
- Embrace and uphold the mission of Royal Palm Academy, fostering Catholic formation and instilling core values in students.
- Deliver comprehensive and age-appropriate lessons in both Science and Math subjects, adhering to the school's curriculum guidelines and employing diverse instructional strategies to accommodate varied learning styles.
- Maintain effective classroom management techniques and communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school administrators to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Utilize technology proficiently, including Microsoft Office and student information systems, to facilitate teaching and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with a sound understanding of Catholic theology (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience in a Catholic school environment or teaching Grades 6-12 is advantageous.
Physical and Other Demands:
- Ability to perform various physical tasks such as keyboarding, writing, and monitoring students in different settings.
- Demonstrate composure and effective communication skills when interacting with students, parents, and fellow faculty members.
