Summary
As an infant teacher you will assists in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education while effectively observe and document in the ongoing assessment. of children's progression of learning. Must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assist in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children. Low teacher/child ratio.
Duties - Assist in the implementation of curricula activities.
- Documentation of children's development.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, and availability of classroom materials.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Requirements - Must have completed EDU 119
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- An understanding of child development.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Nice To Haves - Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

About Us At the Irene Wortham Early Learning Center, children ages six weeks to pre-k with and without developmental challenges learn, play and grow together in an integrated setting.
