Position Overview:

The Vice President of Mortgage Operations and Efficiency is a crucial leadership role within our organization, responsible for guiding our operations to new heights of success. This role demands a committed individual capable of leading our operations team to exceed monthly objectives, manage staffing efficiently, and ensure comprehensive compliance throughout all operational facets. You will be tasked with overseeing daily activities, predicting future operational and staffing needs, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. A hallmark of this role is the ability to foster and maintain our vibrant company culture, necessitating regular on-site engagement and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations across various departments including Processing, Underwriting, Funding, and Servicing, ensuring optimal staffing and training.
Forecast mortgage pipeline requirements proactively and manage resources accordingly.
Oversee team leads in Processing and Underwriting to ensure smooth pipeline management.
Enforce compliance policies strictly while delivering exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with the Origination team, brokers, and clients to resolve issues related to mortgage processing, underwriting, and loan servicing.
Develop, manage, and update departmental workflows, policies, and procedures.
Engage with Sales, Senior Management, and support teams for cross-departmental collaboration.
Maintain open lines of communication with the Origination department to address service levels and suggest improvements.
Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Business Purpose private money lending.
3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within the mortgage industry, specifically in operations involving Business Purpose, hard money, or private lending.
Comprehensive understanding of the Mortgage Industry's servicing aspects, such as collections, insurance monitoring, default management, foreclosure, and Origination to Post-Closing processes.
Skilled in engaging with borrowers across various sophistication levels.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying operational directives effectively to team members.
Proficiency in Loan Origination System (L.O.S.) Management.
