Job Summary
For those interested in 3D Printing/Shipping Technician role, then this is the perfect job for you. This will be a split role between supporting both our Sculpteo and 3D printing materials businesses.
We are seeking a self-driven individual with experience as a 3D printing and/or Shipping technician with their time being split 50/50 between each of these roles. Above all, we need a deeply motivated team member with a strong sense of team spirit who is adaptable, versatile and an open-minded individual.
Job Description
Working in the newly established Applications Technology Center (ATC), you will have an active role in building the 3D Printing/Sculpteo business by:
- Developing 3d printing procedures for various materials and different 3D printing platforms
- Maintaining 3d printers and troubleshooting any issues
- Providing technical support to address new market needs and to develop new applications.
- Supporting new products, production, and sales by working closely with customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Communicate effectively and work in a collaborative team atmosphere
- Report on customer issues to supervisor and offer solutions to meet customer's satisfaction.
- Review and approve incoming parts prior to shipping to ensure consistent quality.
- Packed carefully to survive shipping while consistently meet our shipping standards.
- Managing production inventory and supply input
- Making sure orders are packaged and shipped on schedule to meet tight customer deadlines.
- Communicate with shipping agencies to resolve any issues with late deliveries.
- Support other departments within the organization requiring logistical assistance or acting towards greater Customer Satisfaction.
- Installing and operating various 3D printers
- Troubleshoot equipment and printing jobs.
- Providing technical support of existing products and to existing customers.
- Providing technical service to address new market needs and to develop new applications.
- Supporting new product development, pilot and commercialization activities. Working closely with R&D, manufacturing and providing quality control (QC).
- Maintaining clean and organized lab space and printers/equipment.
- Monitoring stock levels of printing materials and Lab consumables.
Skills Required
- Experience in developing, testing and working with 3D printable materials. Your experience in successfully printing and qualifying 3D printing materials on various 3D printing platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience of working in a multifunctional environment with the goal of commercializing new products or launching new applications, including but not limited to working in production, QC or R&D environments.
- Experience in testing 3D printed parts and knowledge of thermal and mechanical tests procedures, such as Tensile Strength, Elongation, Impact Resistance, etc.
- Safety mindset utilizing all tools to maintain clean and safe working environment.
- High level understanding of mechanics and machine systems with the ability to identify and troubleshoot.
- Hands on experience of learning to operate new equipment and develop safe and efficient work procedures and guidelines.
Education/Training/Certification
- Leveraging your educational background in a technical discipline, you will provide technical support to Company Technical Specialists photocurable resins.
Additional Requirements
- SCHEDULE: 8 hours a day, Mon - Fri, 9AM to 5PM ( Flexible)
Pay Rate/Salary
- $20.00 per hour
