Job description

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time, Project Assistant with 2-3 years of experience for our corporate office in Abingdon, MD. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. 

The Contract Assistant will be responsible for:

• High volume of accurate project/contract related entry into BST software
• Detailed review/research of information to ensure compliance with company practices
• Provide assistance to all staff levels regarding project and contract inquiries.
• Maintain databases for client addresses and billing requirements
• Log contractual documents into BST software and manage electronic filing
• Assist with generating reports and electronic filing related to projects and contracts as required
• Provide basic assistance with accounting tasks and special projects as necessary

This position is entry-level and you will be trained on BST Software. However, you must possess the following "soft" skills:

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Work well in a team environment while also being self-sufficient when necessary
• Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe & Outlook
• Detail oriented and able to self-review
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
• A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
