The Channel Development D irector is instrumental in boosting sales of our company's products and services through resellers and channels within the assigned territory. Serving as the primary liaison between the field , A real S ales M anagers /S ales E xecutives (ASMs/SEs) and its channel partners, this role contributes to overall sales strategy success, involving collaboration with internal teams for effective reseller/channel support.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies for selling company products and services through resellers and channels in the designated territory.
- Working directly with the ASM’s and their SEs to implement strategy and tactics to both develop new and enhance existing COI relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resellers/channels, offering necessary support and fostering strong relationships.
- Represent the company in interactions related to reseller/channel support, ensuring a positive and collaborative partnership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address the needs of resellers/channels and enhance overall channel development.
- Contribute to moderately complex aspects of projects, leveraging channel development, management, and sales skills to achieve and exceed set targets.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies, aligning with overall business objectives and driving revenue through effective channel development.
- History of Matrix Management, working through the ASM’s and their SEs to achieve congruent goals around channel sales growth, strategy and tactics.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, with exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of channel sales processes, including lead generation, deal closure, and strong negotiation skills to achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, aligning channel activities with overall company goals.
- Comprehensive understanding of market and industry trends, translating knowledge into actionable strategies for effective channel development.
- Strong analytical utilizing data and metrics to assess channel performance and implement data-driven strategies for enhanced effectiveness.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing market conditions, introducing innovative approaches to channel development, driving continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Experience: 4-7 years of related experience in channel development, management, and sales, including success in selling through resellers and channels, and leading high-performing channel sales teams.
- Experience with working with Brokers, CPA’s and Bankers to drive referrals.
