Senior Network Engineer
Rome GA
Scope of Work:
- Creates and supports a standard structured cabling specification.
- Installs configures and supports Fortinet hardware and software solutions.
- Installs configures and supports Client VPNs IPSEC tunnel VPNs in an MFA secured hybrid environment.
- Cloud platform integration and support including Azure and Office 365.
- Installs configures and supports virtual servers including HyperV and Azure (Azure networking).
- Drives continuous improvement in business processes and increase operational efficiencies.
- Installs configures and supports server hardware and operating systems.
- Continuously improve security and reliability by monitoring equipment patches and network performance.
- Drives continuous improvement in IT processes and increases operational efficiencies.
- Works closely with project teams in gathering requirements standing up and configuring the platform.
- Nice to have working experience:
- in a Manufacturing/ Automotive/ Industrial Setting.
- with Avaya VOIP.
- with Vendor accounts and contract management.
- Other duties can be assigned based on company needs and employee capabilities.
Requirements
- Must have working experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT related field or equivalent work experience and/or education.
- 5 years experience with Network and systems administration.
Must have working experience: Azure Hyper V Fortinet Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or IT related field, or equivalent work experience and/or education. 5+ years experience with Network and systems administration.
