Job description
We are looking to fill a full-time role for a Senior Adult Pastor.
The Senior adult Pastor reports to the Senior Pastor and is under his supervision.
- Sets vision and direction for the Senior Adult Ministry
- Works with the Senior Adult Team in planning and coordinating all events and activities.
- Oversees all Bible Study and mission projects for the Senior Adults
- Responsible for communication with Seniors about upcoming Bible studies, events, and mission projects
- Supports and works with existing Senior adult ministries
- Evaluating the different ministries for Seniors regularly
- Communicate with the Staff about all activities
- Share prayer needs for Seniors with the Staff
- Start new ministries to meet the needs of our Senior Adults
- Assists with hospital and funeral home visits for Senior Adults
- Responsible for working with the Communications Director to promote Senior Adult ministries every month
- Other responsibilities for Senior Adults as assigned by the Senior Pastor
- Regularly attends a weekly staff meeting
