Responsibilities
- Manage and direct all activities of the service department, ensuring high productivity and quality service.
- Forecast department goals and objectives, and strive to meet them.
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all service department staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, encouraging repeat and referral business.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and according to dealership's guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the heavy truck market.
- A confident, positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
