Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in helping drive oversight and accountability around pricing accuracy. This role will assist in identifying root causes that create pricing discrepancies and customer deductions. The person in this role will implement financial processes that will drive accuracy, lower deductions and improve execution. The Sr. Financial Analyst will also partner with key business leaders to drive master data management and over process improvements supporting increase pricing complexity.

Responsibilities
- Support the Product pricing and sales teams in instituting new or revised processes as a part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) and promotional and negotiated sales work streams. These activities will require development of new templates / tools, coordination with a wide variety of cross-functional partners, and a strong ability to lead change across an organization.
- Develop proactive identification tools and reporting to support team audits and order accuracy, in partnership with product, IT and customer care, to deliver seamless pricing experience to customers.
- Lead team efforts to connect to corporate initiatives around data governance, including attending cross functional meetings with product, master data, customer service and other key partners to drive efficiency and accuracy, while supporting future complexity and growth proactively.
- Analyze key pricing programs and initiatives, including but not limited to Canadian pricing, promotional or discount sales program analysis. Provide recommendations to FP&A, management, and sales to support programs.
- Establish KPI’s for measuring success for pricing team. Develop reporting for management to ensure accountability.
- Provide data driven guidance and input that result in improvements in pricing compliance and financial processes.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Required in Accounting/Finance or Related Field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 or more years of successful experience in quantitative role (i.e., Finance, FP&A, etc.)
- 3 or more years of successful experience leading and managing multiple projects
- Ability to support business planning efforts of the business leaders through proactive strategic thinking
- Demonstrated strong data analytical skills and problem solving ability, including a high degree of proficiency in excel, ability to query system data and perform data manipulation.
- Prior experience with SAP/S4 HANA a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
Working Conditions
- Travel (5%)
- Willing to work some weekends if necessary
- Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities.
