Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Work closely with the superintendent in developing a spray program, analyzing the budget, and scheduling cultural programs. The position will also gain experience in working with a toro irrigation system, managing a crew, future project planning as well as learning how to run heavy equipment.
Requirements:
Bachelors/associates or certificates degree in turf-related field.
At least 1-2 years of golf course experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania pesticide license within 90 days of employment.
Looking for a hard-working self-motivated individual looking to lead a championship team.
Need a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 per year.
Golfing privileges, employee meals, health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation, uniforms, and associates dues.
