Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Container Delivery Driver to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering containers/dumpster on a daily basis, ensuring that all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The driver must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience and a good understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver a commercial vehicle to deliver containers/dumpster to assigned destinations.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Follow DOT regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and ensure that all required paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure that all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class A or B Driver's License
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Good understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- bility to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Initially will be working Monday-Thursday 10 hours a day. Time starts around 6AM. Will have to travel to Palm Coast, FL.
