Job description

St. Ambrose University seeks a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the recruitment efforts for our healthcare programs, including a prominent online nursing program. The successful candidate will be adept at employing both a business-to-consumer and business-to-business approach forging and maintaining fruitful relationships with corporate, not-for-profit, and government entities to achieve business development goals. This role is crucial in expanding the reach and impact of our healthcare programs, particularly the online nursing program.

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in either Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the education or healthcare sector. Candidate should have a proven track record in developing business relationships and meeting or exceeding targets. Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in addition to strong understanding of the healthcare industry and educational program promotion. Will need to have the ability to travel as part of recruiting activities and be proficient in using CRM software and digital marketing tools.
