Job description
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, and implementation of PLC, HMI, and other automation systems. The Controls Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the project design and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for industrial equipment, including PLC and HMI programming
- Configure and integrate PLC, HMI, and automation systems
- Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Test and commission control systems
- Provide technical support for existing systems
- Interpret customer requirements and develop system architecture
- Perform process analysis and system optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering
- Experience with PLC programming and configuration
- Experience with HMI programming and configuration
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, Rockwell, and CompactLogix
- Familiarity with Fanuc Robotics a plus
- Familiarity with EPLAN is a plus
Benefits - Competitive Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 (DOE)
