Job description

Summary:
You will play a pivotal role in supporting our IT Network Engineer & Security Team across various technical responsibilities. Your tasks will encompass security, network, system administration, customer support, and maintenance for the diverse technical platforms and solutions utilized across our organization.

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties):

Network Administration (35%):

Implement system configurations according to design, execute system installations, and adhere to system standards.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and collaborate with network architects for optimization.
Enforce network security policies and monitor access.
Update job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional publications.
Enable business continuity capabilities for technical infrastructure.
Provide technical services and support for WAN, LAN, WLAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security appliances, and more.
Conduct network assessments and security audits.
Administer and maintain remote monitoring and management systems.
Document maintenance for computer systems and network infrastructure.
Communicate with customers to keep them informed of incident progress or impending changes.
Systems Administration (35%):

Implement SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
Install and configure servers, hardware, peripherals, services, directories, storage, etc., according to standards and requirements.
Provide Data Center Support for various technologies.
Maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Operations and Support (15%):

Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and processes.
Conduct regular security monitoring and perform backup operations.
Create, change, and delete user accounts as required.
Provide Level 2 and 3 support, investigating and troubleshooting issues.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Maintenance (15%):

Apply OS patches and upgrades, and configure new services as necessary.
Maintain operational procedures and perform periodic performance reporting.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in network and/or systems administration.
Professional proficiency in MS Office suite.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer-facing IT support roles.
Experience in network and/or systems administration, preferably using Microsoft and Cisco products.
Compensation:
Salary ranges vary depending on candidate location:

Geo 1: $66,300 - $74,100 base salary
Geo 2: $60,350 - $67,450 base salary
Geo 3: $54,400 - $60,800 base salary
Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, business sector, and geographic location. Employee may be eligible for additional bonus compensation and outstanding benefits.
