Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Office Assistant at Harrisonburg Ford will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our dealership. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. The Receptionist/Office Assistant will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our clients and maintaining the overall efficiency of our office operations.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers and guests as they enter the dealership
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Keep an accurate record of customer appointments and update the daily schedule
- Process customer payments and maintain financial records
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with vehicle inventory management and maintenance of office supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficiency within the dealership
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or office assistant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with office equipment such as printers and copiers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of automotive industry and dealership operations is a plus
