Job description
Evolve Healthcare seeks qualified EP Techs for an immediate hire travel position with a major healthcare system in Davie (greater Ft Lauderdale) FL. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years' experience in Electromyography (prior travel experience a plus). have proper national professional accrediations/certifications, ACLS, BLS and NIH. ```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technologist to join our team. As a Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic procedures and tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise in physiology, cardiac catheterization, diagnostic evaluation, sonography, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic technique, and vital signs will be essential in providing accurate and reliable results.
Duties:
- EP studies including implants and abrasions
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Set up and operate equipment to capture images or record data during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze test results and provide recommendations for further treatment or evaluation
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or completion of an accredited program for technologists
- Certification in relevant areas such as cardiovascular technology or sonography
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, anatomy, and aseptic technique
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Start: Immediate Upon Acceptance of Offer Letter
Shifts: 6:30AM -5PM DAYS 4X10s
Pay: Traveler Outside 50 miles $2532.00 gross (incl $1440 base and $1092 stipend)
