A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CLINICAL THERAPIST

In this professional-level therapist position you are involved in the students everyday life while they are at Monuments Academy. You will m aintain a caseload of up to 8 students, conducting various therapy services including individual, family, group, and equine therapy. You provide support, feedback, and guidance during weekly therapy sessions as well as working with the families during the student's physical absence from home. In addition to working with the student's families, you will also be frequently communicating with and maintaining a relationship with Educational Consultants. During the day-to-day it is imperative you are documenting each therapy session with detailed and professional notes.

Monuments Academy's campus is breathtaking and completely surrounded by nature. While maintaining a safe atmosphere you also get the opportunity to conduct experiential therapy sessions (like snowboarding at Brian Head or horseback trail rides) with the students!

PAY/SCHEDULE

This full-time clinical therapist can earn a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year as well as a $5,000 relocation bonus if you will be moving for this position from outside of Southern Utah . Full-time employees are also eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance as well as PTO, paid holidays, and 401K.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CLINICAL THERAPIST

• Active LCSW, LMFT, or CMHC license (or equivalent)
• Masters Degree in clinical social work, clinical psychology, or marriage and family therapy (or a related field)
• Professional documentation and charting skills
• A basic knowledge of educational, psychological, family, and social work systems as related to special education and behavior treatment.
• Intervention techniques of individual, group, and family therapy in working with residents and their families
• Licensed by the state of Utah
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass driving tests and remain up to date on required driving courses.

Although not required, it is a plus if you have;

• Previous experience working at a residential treatment center or behavioral health center
• Experience in treating youth and young adults
• Special training in working with emotional dysregulation with adolescents
