Job Title: Tax Manager or Senior Consultant, Severance Tax
Job Location: Houston or Dallas
Job Salary: $100,000 - $200,000
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2.) 3+ years of experience in severance tax
3.) 2+ years of leadership experience
4.) Consulting experience

We are looking for a Severance Tax Manager or Senior Consultant to join our Accounting-Finance team. You will be responsible for conducting tax research and providing consulting services related to severance taxes. You should also have a strong understanding of CPA and CMI standards and guidelines. What You Will Be Doing

As a Severance Tax Manager or Senior Consultant, your daily tasks will involve researching and analyzing tax laws and regulations, advising on tax strategies, and conducting tax planning for our clients. You will also provide guidance on tax compliance issues and consult on best practices. You will also be supported by a professional and experienced team of colleagues and work in an environment that encourages collaboration.

What You Need for this Position

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in severance tax
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Consulting experience
- Tax Research experience
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Bonus Skills:
- CPA or CMI Preferred
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Navision
- Experience using CCH/ AnswerConnect or equivalent
- Severance tax/gross product compliance experience in multiple states preferred (specifically in TX, OK, CO, WY and UT)
