The Internship : Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2024 for students in their penultimate year of college. The paid internship will prepare interns for a career in the Real Estate industry. Walmart Realty will have opportunities available within the following teams:
Realty Capital Strategy & Management manages over $5B worth of capital across thousands of projects annually. Our team partners across the business to ensure Walmart capital is utilized efficiently, effectively and delivers on business objectives.
The Fuel & Convenience division is a rapidly growing segment within Walmart with a mission to save customers time and money by providing quality fuel and merchandise in a convenient and accessible format.
Realty Execution leads the execution of Walmart projects (Remodels, New & Special Projects) through upstream collaboration, alignment & planning, and then through the actual execution and delivery of the project at store level. They collaborate with Project Stakeholders across Walmart to improve and streamline processes to provide efficiencies & reduce expenses.
Real Estate Procurement : the Fixture Development & Implementation team is responsible for developing fixture solutions that meet design, functionality, and EDLC requirements. They use their expertise in materials, manufacturing, and vendor history to make recommendations while considering customer vision, deadlines, and total cost of ownership.
Facility Services supports in-house Service & budget advisement for General Maintenance Technicians, HVAC, Refrigeration Technicians, and Exterior Services (Landscaping) for our stores and home office buildings.

Preferred majors: Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, Strategy, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Expected graduation date between December 2024-August 2025
0-1 years of full-time relevant experience preferred.
A successful candidate will not require sponsorship from Walmart for authorization to work now or in the future.
