Job description
Job Summary:
- A client of ours in Mason OH is looking for a z/OS system programmer for a Contract on W2 opportunity.
Mandatory Skills & Areas:
- Experience in supporting and configuring z/OS
- Installing IBM software products on z/OS
- Support integration testing with new products & existing products
- Assist in troubleshooting of z/OS or products running on z/OS
- Domain Experience (If any) Good to have healthcare experience
Requirements:
- z/OS system programmer - experience in supporting and configuring z/OS
- Experience is installing IBM software products on z/OS (developing a SMPE strategy for these overall product installations, JCL, set up started tasks, security requests for service IDs associated to the products, etc): Running installation jobs and scripts, configuring products for use, performing installation specific customization tasks
- Support integration testing with new products & existing products
- Assist in troubleshooting of z/OS or products running on z/OS as needed

Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 10+ years of z/OS system programmer Experience.
- Education: Bachelors (required)
